1) Eligibility & Accounts
- Age. The Service may be used by individuals under 18 only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
- Account Registration (if enabled). You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and all activities under your account.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial use (or, if expressly permitted, for internal business use).

3) User Content
Ownership. You retain ownership of text and materials you submit to read with LectionX (“User Content”).
License to Us. Solely to operate the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process and display User Content in your browser and to store temporary copies as technically necessary. We do not claim ownership of your content.
Responsibility. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to submit User Content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.
4) Intellectual Property
The Service, including but not limited to the LectionX name, logo, design elements, software, algorithms, and documentation are the property of Creative Software Solutions LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. All rights are reserved.
Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights. Any feedback you provide may be used to improve the Service without obligation or compensation.
5) Third-Party Services
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services (e.g., analytics, email, file hosting). We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms and privacy policies.
6) Payments & Subscriptions (if offered)
If we introduce paid features, the following will apply:
- Billing. Prices, taxes, and billing cycles will be disclosed at purchase. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method.
- Auto-Renewal. Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time before the next billing cycle; benefits typically remain through the period already paid.
- Refunds. Unless required by law or stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable once delivered.
7) Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that reading speed or comprehension outcomes will meet your expectations, that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.
Educational and productivity information provided by the Service is not medical, therapeutic, or professional advice.
8) Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Creative Software Solutions LLC and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our aggregate liability for any claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to liability, or (b) USD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; some of the above may not apply to you.
9) Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Creative Software Solutions LLC and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your infringement or violation of any third-party rights.
10) Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, to us, or to third parties, or for technical or security reasons. You may stop using the Service at any time.
Upon termination, provisions which by their nature should survive (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitations of liability) shall continue in effect.
11) Copyright & DMCA
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, please send a notice to the contact below with: (a) your contact information; (b) identification of the copyrighted work and the allegedly infringing material; (c) a statement of good-faith belief; (d) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act; and (e) your physical or electronic signature.
12) Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described there.
13) Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
Venue. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Mexico, and you consent to their personal jurisdiction.
Optional alternative dispute resolution: The parties may mutually agree to attempt informal resolution or mediation before filing suit.
14) Changes to the Service & Terms
We may modify or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
